About Us
At New Wave we believe EVERYONE has a next step. We want to take that step with you. New Wave Christian Church is more than just a non-denominational church; it's a family of forgiven people who strive to help others encounter Jesus. We are focused on embracing our relationship with Jesus Christ and being the disciples that He's called us to be in scripture Matthew 28:19. We believe You'll find a unique and welcoming atmosphere at our Church.
A Church Beyond the 4 Walls
At New Wave Christian Church, we are passionate about serving others, just as the Lord calls us to do. We believe in the power of local missions and actively seek opportunities to make a difference in our community. Through outreach projects, we step beyond the four walls of the church to meet people where they are, addressing their needs with love and compassion. We also partner with ministries and organizations that are making a positive impact for the Kingdom of God, working together to bring hope, support, and transformation to the families we serve.
Welcoming You with Open Arms
If you've been church hurt in the past or have been away from church for a little while, New Wave Christian Church is here for you. Our church is not here to judge but instead to love and let God do the rest! We hope that you feel the love of God when you walk through our doors and have an everlasting encounter with Him that stays with you. We pray you will leave feeling like you are family and not just a member of a church.
Mission Statement
At New Wave Church, our mission is to live and reflect Matthew 22:37-40 by wholeheartedly loving God and loving others. We are committed to fostering a community where individuals experience the transformative power of God’s love and, in turn, share that love with others. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and encouraged in their spiritual journey.
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

Our Beliefs
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21) and is the final standard for all doctrine, faith, and Christian living (Matthew 4:4; Psalm 119:105). The Scriptures reveal God’s character (Exodus 34:6-7; Hebrews 1:1-3), His plan for salvation (Romans 1:16; 2 Timothy 3:15), and His instructions for righteousness (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 19:7-11; James 1:22-25)God
We believe in one living and true God, who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:2, 27; Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7)Jesus
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, was conceived by the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, buried, and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us. (Luke 1:26-33; Hebrews 7:25)The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the operation of the nine spiritual gifts. We encourage believers to live in a way that allows these gifts to be active in their lives. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)Salvation
Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are justified by His blood when we repent of our sins and believe in Him. (Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10; John 14:6; Acts 13:38-39; Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 6:11; Mark 1:5)Baptism
We believe that water baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. It is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism represents the believer’s identification with Christ, the cleansing of sin, and the new life found in Him (Romans 6:3-4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 22:16). While baptism itself does not save, it is an act of obedience to Christ’s command (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:16) and a testimony of one’s commitment to follow Him (Acts 2:38; Acts 8:36-38).The Second Coming
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ. He will come again to gather His people and establish His eternal kingdom. (Acts 1:10-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:7)Eternity
Those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God in Hell, but those who believe in Him will share in His glory in Heaven forever. (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:46; John 5:29; Jude 1:7)Marriage & Family
We uphold the sanctity of marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman. We believe in strong family values and the importance of godly homes. (Ephesians 5:31-33; Ephesians 6:1-4; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 19:5; Leviticus 18:22; Genesis 2:24)
