Sabrina Giddens
Echo Kids Minister
Born & raised in New York City, Sabrina’s journey with Christ began at a very young age after her older sister was invited to Vacation Bible School at a local church. Through that single invitation, Sabrina’s entire family came to know Christ and at just 3 years old Sabrina was able to begin her own relationship with Jesus. Raised at Manhattan Grace Tabernacle, Sabrina’s faith was nurtured through her children’s ministry leaders, who helped lay a strong spiritual foundation in her life.
At the age of 10, she participated in the church’s Salt & Light program, which allowed preteens to serve in different ministries one Sunday each month. This experience gave Sabrina the opportunity to discover where God was calling her to serve. While she spent many years ushering, it was through teaching that she realized her true passion. Watching God work through the hearts of children confirmed her calling, eventually leading her to serve as a Kids Ministry Leader at her church.
Through one VBS invitation, her entire family either came to know Christ, a single interaction impacted an entire family’s earthly and eternal future. Sabrina’s prayer is that God’s Word would be deeply sown into the hearts of the children in Echo Kids, so they may boldly ECHO His truth to the world!
