  • Pastor Bobby is a dedicated leader at New Wave Christian Church. Originally hailing from New York, he is an avid sports fan, rooting for his favorite teams: the Yankees, Giants, and Knicks. Bobby is happily married to his best friend and partner, Mrs. Dixie Crespo, and together they are blessed with four amazing children whom they cherish deeply. With a warm sense of humor, he brings laughter and joy to those around him, inviting others to embrace life with a light heart.

Bobby's faith journey began as a teenager but truly deepened in his late 30s when he realized the transformative love of God, even amid life's challenges. He has experienced many ups and downs but has always felt God's unwavering presence and grace. His passion for sharing the love and message of Christ is palpable as he strives to spread hope through various means, from youth and young adult ministries to personal connections. Bobby emphasizes the importance of Scripture, drawing inspiration from 2 Timothy 3:16, which reminds him of the power and utility of God's Word in teaching and guiding lives.
Connect with God and People
As a music lover, Bobby often communicates with the Lord through song and occasionally leads worship on Sundays alongside the talented worship team. Initially hesitant, he answered God's call to serve as a youth leader, recognizing the deep needs of today's youth for guidance and mentorship. His role as a connect pastor allows him to engage with people authentically, fulfilling his heart's desire to connect and share God's love.
Living for Christ
One of his favorite Bible verses is John 3:16 (“For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”), which encapsulates the essence of God's love and sacrifice. As a sinner saved by grace, Bobby is committed to living his life for Christ, sharing His love, truth, and mercy, and ultimately hopes to hear the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant," in the next life.
