  • Pastor Donnie Burchfield is driven by his love for God and other people. Married to his wife, Cassandra (Sandi), for over 21 years, they are proud parents of four wonderful children: Madisyn, Brintlee, Bryce, and Paityn. You’ll often find Pastor Donnie engaging with the community, whether at church, a ministry event, or cheering on young athletes at local sports fields.

  • Pastor Donnie has over 22 years of experience coaching high school football. He has also volunteered with Little League Baseball, Pop Warner Football, the Clermont Girls Softball League, and many other sports organizations. He loves connecting with families and building lasting relationships.

For over 19 years, Pastor Donnie has served the ministry in various roles, including associate pastor, youth pastor, and board member at Hope International Church. His journey of faith took a transformative turn as he felt called to create a church that thinks outside the box to reach families.
This vision comes to life at New Wave Christian Church, which offers a contemporary urban worship experience that prioritizes relationships with God and one another. Pastor Donnie believes in being authentic with the Word of God and is committed to building a vibrant community of disciples eager to share the Good News of Christ!
