- Pastor Donnie Burchfield is the Lead Pastor of New Wave Christian Church and is driven by a deep love for God and people. Alongside his wife, Cassandra (Sandi), whom he has been married to for over 24 years, Pastor Donnie is committed to helping families experience authentic relationships with God and one another. Together, they are the proud parents of four children: Madisyn, Brintlee, Bryce, and Paityn. Pastor Donnie has served in ministry for more than 24 years in a variety of leadership roles as he was mentored by Pastor Tony McCoy, including associate pastor, youth pastor, and board member at Hope International Church. New Wave Christian Church is a contemporary urban ministry focused on authentic worship, strong relationships, and the uncompromised Word of God. Pastor Donnie and Sandi are deeply invested in their community and share a passion for building a vibrant church culture where disciples are equipped and empowered to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
